Dusk visualisation of the rear of the Aero Club building and airfield
We’ve known Daniel at State of Craft for a long time, but this was the first project we worked on together. He needed to present his design for an Aero Club to the board of a private members club at Goodwood Airport; the board would in turn present the design to its members.
Daniel already had a Sketch Up model with the specific views he wanted to show, but he was keen to present as realistic a vision as possible so there would be no hesitation in understanding the design. We took the Sketch Up model, applied some realistic textures and more detail, added in the airfield, and then rendered the views for Daniel to present.
There followed a series of weekly meetings, and each time we adjusted the images based on the board’s feedback. Daniel would often request multiple options to show different finishes, which he used to compare and discuss with his client, so they could make an informed decision. After the exterior was signed off by the board, State of Craft started work on the interior and we followed a similar process, preparing a weekly set of images for them to present.
