Thomson Perrett & Lobb contacted us on behalf of a client who was keen to create some animations for a golf course, proposed as part of a prestigious real estate development in Nigeria. The project was still at an early stage, so instead of creating animations for all 18 holes, it was decided to show a trio of holes – numbers 16, 17 and 18. The idea was to give a flavour of what was to come, show the character of the course, and encourage potential members, visitors and buyers (of real estate) to sit up and take notice.
The images aren’t just about the golf course though, they will be used to communicate a lifestyle and what it will be like to live or visit Garden City. We created images that showed a golfer’s view from the tee, the fairway and the green for each hole, as well as an animation showing a flyover from tee to green with a ball path illustrating the ideal route of play. In the near future these images and animations will be used for unveiling the Garden City development online, in industry publications, press releases and social media.
