We’ve worked with International Design Group (IDG) on a number of projects, so they know what we can do, but they like to push the boundaries and they certainly did that with this project. As sites go this is one of the most interesting we’ve worked on, with a lot of elevation changes and unusual landforms across the site.
Sometimes we work on projects that combine golf with real estate, and while this project does have real estate, our brief was to focus on golf. IDG wanted a selection of CGIs to present their concept for an 18-hole course and practice range to their client. They asked us to create one view of each hole and capture the character of the course.
We were told the clients gave our CGIs a standing ovation, which is always a good sign. We like to think we made IDG’s life a little easier, so they could move swiftly onto the next design stage.
After the success of the CGIs we went on to create a trailer animation, combining a selection of the best holes with one of the villas, and ending with a view from the terrace overlooking the course.

The whole team!
The course is characterised by old brick kilns that have been left standing. See if you can spot them in our CGIs below …
