Whilst we’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the best golf course architects and developers around the world, we have a short list of companies who we still want to work with. On that list was Discovery Land and Tom Fazio. So when Discovery Land contacted us to say they had a new project with a Tom Fazio designed course, we managed to cross two names off that list! It would have been three names because VITA were on board as the landscape architect, but we had already worked with them on a couple of projects.
Not only that, but the project was on the Caribbean island of Barbuda and featured luxury residences and one of Discovery Land’s trademark comfort stations. We always love projects that combine our two favourite things, golf and architecture!
The brief was to showcase six holes of the course and pay particular attention to the natural dunes, flowering vegetation and proximity to the Caribbean sea – that wasn’t difficult considering some of the holes are literally on the beach.
We created a shorter teaser animation for Discovery Land to present at the earliest opportunity, and the full-length trailer animation followed a few weeks later.
