East Lake

Established in 1904, East Lake Golf Club is home to Atlanta’s oldest golf course. Originally designed by Tom Bendelow in 1908, it was later redesigned by Donald Ross in 1913. More recently, Andrew Green was brought in to restore the course.

Green used a 1949 aerial photograph as inspiration to guide the restoration – refurbishing the bunkers, adding more undulation to the greens and movement to the fairways, and carrying out significant tree removal. The goal was to recapture the course’s historic character while still challenging the best players on the PGA Tour.

In preparation for the 2024 TOUR Championship, our brief was to create visuals that would showcase both Green’s proposed restoration and the tournament staging.

In addition to the animation, we produced a series of still renderings featuring players and crowds to help convey the atmosphere of a championship event.
