Cabot Barrens

This was our second project for Cabot and the site at Cabot Citrus Farms, formerly known as World Woods Golf Club, couldn’t be more different to the rocky cliffs of Saint Lucia. Instead, we had towering pines, mature oaks and a lot of sand to play with. The site also has over 80 feet of elevation change which is unusual for Florida.

It was our first time collaborating with golf course architect Kyle Franz, and we had a lot of fun working with him to ‘shape’ the course in our digital world.

This animation is the perfect example of less is more. Cabot already knew what they wanted, a short teaser to get people excited about Cabot Barrens, the redesigned Pine Barrens course. Instead of trying to show every hole, we focused on holes 3, 4, 16 and 18.

In addition to the animation we also created a selection of still renders, which Cabot plan to use for a variety of purposes including print and digital media.
